OWENS TO MAKE SECOND SUPERSPEEDWAY START
Alli Owens will make her second career start on a superspeedway in Friday’s ARCA RE/MAX 250 at Talladega Superspeedway. The 20-year-old made her first superspeedway start in February at Daytona International Speedway. A superspeedway is a track that is 2.5 Miles or greater in length.

“I’m glad to have another chance this season to race on a superspeedway,” said Owens. “I’m very proud of what we were able to accomplish in Daytona but our finish was not what I had hoped for. I have a lot more experience with the cars and my competitors than I did in February. I’m approaching this race with a much different perspective.”

The No. 12 ElectrifyingCareers.com Chevrolet which Owens will be piloting is named ‘Barney’. It is the same car she raced at Daytona.
